Rod and Jill are busy planning for a new season at The Rose Garden Cafe.

It will be our 11th year!  We have many new ideas and are very excited.

Looking forward to seeing you in the Springtime!

Our lease has been renewed for another five years and we are excited and planning…..more updates soon.

Even though the summer is behind us, and the Fall is all around us,

we, at the Rose Garden Cafe are dreaming of next summer

and all the wonderfulness that will bring when we re-open.

We have many new ideas for 2012

and look forward to opening when the flowers return.

For now, back to raking leaves and making warm pots of bubbling soup.

Back to dreaming through the winter in the world of imagination

about beaches and roses, picnics and cafes in the park…..

We are so grateful to all of you for a wonderful summer!

The Rose Garden Cafe and life in the park

has that sense of “coming home” for the summer.

It gives that sense of taking a break from the cycle of the year

and places it into summertime chilling at the beach

summertime fun with friends and family

summertime lightness and frivolity.

We love what we do, we love being part of the park

and we look forward to returning in the Spring,

like the returning of the sparrows,

opening The Rose Garden Cafe for another season

and for many more years to come.

We are so happy for all the wonderful days we’ve spent together…..Life in the park…..is so simple, so lovely, so playful, and so real…..

The beauty of the Rose Garden Cafe is that it appears and reappears each and every Spring….like the snowdrops, daffodils and tulips emerging after a long winter…..put a smile upon your face and know we will re-open in the Spring, like a blossoming rose.

And should September continue to be glorious….enjoy the park and pack a beautiful picnic…..what fun and imagination awaits you.
